"John Avery composes for theatre, dance and film, he has composed many soundtracks for Forced Entertainment Theatre, Unicorn, Wendy Houstoun And Vincent Dance Company amongst others.

A former member of influential Sheffield electronic experimentation outfit Hula. John Avery's own work takes a just as experimental but more lyrical approach and from 1986's "Jessica In The Room Of Lights" through to the CDs “Once I Had It All, Now I Just Have... ...Everything” and “Almost” much of John's work has been used for film soundtracks theatre and contemporary dance."
