Formed in the mid-eighties, Inhabitants influences ranged from jazz, punk and indian music, to mention a few. Singer Heather Allen is the sister of Stunt Kites vocalist John Allen, whilst Steve Chapman was the original bassist for the aforementioned group and also worked together with Saskia Cocker. Keyboard player Jonathan Quarmby joined forces with; former Comsat Angel, Kevin Bacon to become one of the countries top producers, having initial success with Finley Quayle.
